Dear Hiddenbed,
On behalf of Make-A-Wish NZ I would like to thank you sincerely for your wonderful support of Charlie’s wish.
Twelve year-old Charlie’s cherished wish was to have his own bunk bed with a desk area underneath and a 32” TV so
he can watch what he wants from the comfort of his bunk bed.
Charlie’s room is only very small so we were looking for a bunk that would utilise the space most effectively.
What we found at Hiddenbed was absolutely perfect. Not only would Charlie be able to have his desk area under the
top bunk but this area will also flip over into another bed which is perfect for friends coming to stay.
When it came to delivering Charlie’s wish, we wanted to make the day as special as possible for him so we
incorporated the help of Corporal Quentin of the Hauraki Regiment as Charlie loves anything to do with the army.
Corporal Quentin arrived at Charlie’s house in a huge army truck to deliver his TV and other goodies and Charlie
was ecstatic to be given a ride in the truck. He really couldn’t wait to get in the truck and clambered all over
our volunteer, Nola, to get inside! Charlie was then shown his new bed in the presence of Corporal Quentin and
his family and apparently you couldn’t hear a pin drop when he saw the bed – everyone was so speechless to see
Charlie’s face when he realised his wish had come true! He kept repeating “Wow, this is so cool, wow, wow” – he
was truly delighted and his family were quite overcome with emotion.

We could not have made Charlie’s wish so special without your help. Your products are truly unique and no other
product would have made use of the space in Charlie’s room better than the bunk bed you so very kindly donated
for Charlie’s wish. We really can not thank you enough and your help is greatly appreciated.
